The Campus is at Hormis Nagar, Mookkannoor, a rustic village on the outskirts of Angamaly Town. A vast stretch of land comprising 34 acres forms the campus. Mookkannoor being the birthplace of Late K. P. Hormis, the great visionary and founder of Federal Bank, holds an emotional bondage with each and every member of the Federal family and its well-wishers. Therefore the campus is named Hormis Nagar. With its scenic beauty and virgin surroundings, this typical Kerala Village is expected to provide proper ambiance for the prestigious academic institution. The campus is within a radius of hardly 4 km. from NH 47, 7 km. from Angamaly Railway station and 11 km. from Kochi International Airport. Well known pilgrim centres like Kalady, the birth place of Adi Sankara, and Malayattoor, blessed with the footprints of St. Thomas and the famous Athirappily Waterfalls, one of the important tourist attractions of the state are also in the vicinity of the campus.

How to reach the Campus

The FISAT campus is very near to Mookkannoor, a small township on the border of Angamaly Municipal Town. It is well connected by road to Angamaly from where a number of private and K.S.R.T.C buses make frequent trips to Mookkannoor and destinations beyond Mookkannoor. Mookkannoor is on the bus route from Angamaly to Athirappilly Water falls at the south bank of Chalakudy River. It is also connected by bus service to Kalady via Thuravoor and to Chalakudy via Azhakom.

 Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT)^TM is a private self financing Engineering College, established and run by the Federal Bank Officers` Association Educational Society (FBOAES). The FBOAES is an initiative of the Federal Bank Officers` Association (FBOA), the sole representative body of the entire officers of the Federal Bank.

Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT)^TM has a unique position in the Professional Education Sector in South India. With the motto "Focus on Excellence", FISAT has been designed and developed to become a `Centre of Excellence` in professional education.  Established in the year 2002, the college has carved a niche for itself in education world, eloquently demonstrated by the flying colors attained by its students in academics, placements as well as extra curricular and co curricular activities. FISAT has embarked on an ambitious plan to enhance the quality and value of education and develop high quality individuals. The institution received the coveted ISO 9001:2008 certification. 

FISAT is set up at Mookannoor, near Angamaly in Ernakulam District, Kerala, the birth place of the founder of The Federal Bank Ltd, Late KP Hormis. To honour the revered memory of the great visionary, the campus of FISAT is christened `Hormis Nagar`. 

FISAT is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE),  New Delhi.
